Meeting (2-5)

Two meetings were held with The Revenue Commissioners in the New Stamping Building Offices at Dublin Castle. Meeting 1 – 1/8/2017 • We discussed the points outlined above in the Intended results section. Outcomes • The Revenue outlined that communication with the public and practitioners was being improved. • Revenue agreed to circulate the new EII outline and EII 1 forms for comments. • The GBER regulations were discussed and Revenue agreed to circulate the proposed guidelines on the GBER regulations for comment. Meeting 2 – 14/8/2017 • In advance of the meeting, we submitted comments on the proposed GBER regulations. • Our view of the GBER regulations were debated with Revenue Outcomes • Revenue agreed to take on board our feedback on the GBER regulations and would amend the proposed guidelines if appropriate • Revenue agreed to take our suggestions on board if appropriate with regards to the new EII Outline and EII 1 forms
