Meeting (1)
Our presentation stressed the importance of employment and activation services that put unemployed people at their centre and the policies that underpin them have a similar focus. We also raised the importance of a strong focus on equality to these services, a focus that is now essential given the obligations arising from Public Sector Duty. The challenges Brexit is likely to throw-up where also raised, and the need for well integrated services that will assist unemployed people to deal with the impact of these challenges on their employment prospects.
