Met with Michael Martin TD and John Laharty TD to discuss animal welfare issues in general and to seek commitment to supporting a ban on the use of wild animals in circuses, introduction of animal welfare lessons to National School Curriculum, a review of the Dog Breeding Establishments Act and to support a robust new set of Guidelines to accompany the DBEA.
