Meeting (1)

FAI CEO met with Minister Simon Coveney, and Chairman of Cork City, Pat Lyons, to discuss the part-funding of Glanmire Munster Centre of Excellence project by Government. John Delaney said that the FAI are committing up to €5m to the Centre, which is estimated to cost, in total, approximately €11.4m, of which €1.4m will be VAT. The meeting also discussed how the Centre will be for the benefit of the wider community in Munster, and will include the coaching and development of young players, officials and referees.
