Government support is sought to help SMEs apply AI to productivity, administration, customer service, marketing, data analysis and automation, while identifying barriers to adoption and developing an approach with potential for wider national application.

DLR Chamber's Bespoke Locale Report 2026 identifies a "talk-and-walk gap" between innovation messaging and implementation. It identifies 409 DLR business websites carrying innovation language without detectable AI or innovation evidence in their technology stack, demonstrating an opportunity to support practical AI adoption.

Event held on the 12th May in Mercedes-Benz South Dublin to launch the report. All Government local representatives and Councillors were inviteded to attend with the Business Community. Minister Jack Chambers was our key note speaker
