Intended results Increase awareness of the challenges facing older people living alone. Inform public representatives of ALONE's Pre-Budget recommendations. Promote policy measures to address loneliness and social isolation. Encourage support for actions that improve health, wellbeing and independence among older people. Strengthen awareness of ALONE's services and referral pathways within healthcare settings. Secure participation and support for the proposed Oireachtas Working Group on Loneliness.
