On 11 April 2026, Ivan Yates had a phone call with Ciara Phelan, Special Adviser to Minister John Cummins, Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage, in follow-up to previous engagements on matters relating to planning policy and infrastructure delivery for renewable energy development. The meeting sought an update on the implementation of the National Planning Statement and on further policy measures relevant to renewable energy development.
