Specific Details National Awareness campaign for Kinship Care Week 2025

Intended results Spotlight and awareness week for Kinship Care to create political pressure and engagement in the ongoing National Policy Work. Encourage officials to take stock of their own role in championing kinship and responsibilities across Departments in relation to kinship care policy. This outreach resulted in TD Erin McGreehan, Michael Healy Ray, Aisling Dempsey, Kiera Keogh raising parlimentary questions during Kinship Care Week. Taoiseach Michael Martin provided a video address opening statement

Email All Oireachtas Members Mass outreach via email (twice in September and once in early October) of every senator, TD and Government Minister to raise awareness of kinship care and make specific departmental asks for national kinship care policy.

Every Senator, TD and Government Department were emailed with information, infograph on how to get involved in the awareness week, specific asks per each department and invite to events and awareness webinars, promoted raising Parlimentary Questions and discussing within their Department their own responsibilities in relation to kinship families
