Specific Details Submission to inform the implementation of the Framework Policy for Local and Community Development. The submission discussed 6 points which we believe are critical to ensuring effective and sustainable local and community development in Ireland, reflect best practice in community development and ensure a focus on social inclusion.

Intended results We would hope that future local and community development programmes would address some of the issues raised in our submission; that they reflect best practice in community development and ensure a focuus on social inclusion.

Email sent in response to email sent by Department to all attendees at a national Forum on the Implementation of the Framework Policy for Local and community Development. the email invited attendees to send any other comments to the Dept following the event.

Event / Reception (1)

Attendance at the ‘Our Communities’ Forum in the Royal Hospital Kilmainham which involved a consultation regarding the implementation of the Framework Policy for Local and community Development.
