Contact was made directly with the Senator to outline our concerns at the impact of pension abatement on our members and to highlight how some people who were in a new civil service pension were being served with notice of overpayment as a result of failure on the part of their new employer to properly apply the pension abatement rules from the start of their employment

Meeting (1)

The GSRMA met with Senator Craughwell in Leinster House to emphasise the points made in previous phone calls and to seek his support in having retired Gardaí exempted from the pension abatement legislation
