Called for the Housing Committee to hold sessions on: Implementation of minimum BER standards in private rental housing from 2025, including timeline, enforcement, and tenant protections against renovictions. Scaling up local authority and AHB retrofit programmes, with a focus on prioritising the worst-performing stock and shifting to multi-annual funding. Provided supporting evidence from ESRI analysis, Department consultations, and NGO research.
