Email from Senator Martin to Mary McDermott dated 13th September in which he sought feedback from Safe Ireland on his proposed amendment to the Domestic Violence Act 2018. Response from Mary 13/09/2024 stated that Safe Ireland's Legal Support Manager Caroline Counihan had been working on this but had since retired. Mary advised the Senator that Safe Ireland would continue to support his work an would be hiring a new Legal Support Manager who would revert in due course.

Senator Martin emailed Mary McDermott on 13th September thanked her for her leadership and commended her interview on RTE News the previous night. Response from Mary 13/09/2024 advised that as things alter structurally, they will alter socially also.
