Intended results The members of Charities Institute Ireland, Federation of Irish Sport and the GAA, issued a briefing note to members of the Seanad to outline our concern regarding unintended consequences, the Bill creates a watershed by banning any advertising of gambling activities. Fundraising campaigns include raffles and draws are defined as gambling under law, it means we are included in this provision during the water shed. and we want such activities to be excluded.
