Issue of increased funding for youth work was raised by NYCI Chairperson Denis O'Brien, Board member Reuban Murray and Policy manager Grace McManus at the National Economic Dialogue 2024 in Dublin Castle on 27/05, with Ministers McGrath, O'Donohoe and Humphreys, and Department representatives

Meeting with office of John Brady TD in Leinster House on 03/07/2024 to discuss NYCI pre-budget priorities. This was followed up with a phone call on 11/07/24 and an email on 12/07/24 outlining key asks and attaching a copy of the pre-budget submission. 'Youth Work Changes Lives' badges were given to Deputy Brady, Kerrane, and Mythen, and MEP Lynn Boylan at the visit in Leinster House
