Intended results
To highlight that Public participation Networks (PPNs) are acknowledged in the Climate Action Act as key players at local level; the legislation mandates the Local Authorities to consult with Public participation Networks (PPNs) in the development of Local Authority Climate Action Plans. It is only appropriate that farmers should be identified as one of the main community groups to be part of the Public Participation Network (PPN).
To propose that farmers should be added to the main community groups and are represented in their own right as part of the Public Participation Network.
