Intended results
To propose that the next Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) must continue to support Producer Organisations (POs) for all sectors.
To propose that the costs, rules, regulations and administrative burden, including reporting and inspections of producer Organisations (POs), be simplified further to encourage uptake.
To propose that additional funding to support establishment and ongoing running costs is required.
To propose that additional protections are required against the unfair treatment of Producer Organisations (POs) by buyers.
To propose that potato producers must qualify under the EU Fruit and Vegetable Producer Organisation(PO) scheme.
