Specific Details Energy (Windfall Gains in the Energy Sector) (Cap on Market Revenues) Bill 2023.

Intended results that the legislation will not result in more than one entity paying the windfall levy for the same electricity production. As this would not be in line with the EU Regulation that underpins the Bill and would be clearly contrary to the Government’s stated policy objectives for this legislation.
