Meeting (1)

On 20 October 2016, the Societal Impact of Pain (SIP) steering committee met in Brussels to discuss the direction of the SIP platform. With 40 participants from all over Europe, the steering committee discussed past activities of SIP in 2016, the outcomes of the 2016 SIP symposium, national pain advocacy activities and direction for SIP in 2017. Irish MEP Marian Harkin was asked to deleiver a keynote speech on the procedures and possibilities in the European Parliament to adress the Societal Impact of Pain.
