Mountaineering Ireland (CEO, Murrough McDonagh and Hillwalking, Access & Conservation Officer, Helen Lawler), met with Minister of State for Regional Economic Development, Michael Ring, TD, Finola Moylette, Rural Policy & Schemes Principal Officer, Department of Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural & Gaeltacht Affairs and Wesley Atkinson, National Parks and Wildlife Service on Tuesday 25th October 2016 to discuss the following three items listed below; 1. Discussion on Mountain and Upland Path Erosion and possible solutions 2. Discussion on “Comhairle na Tuaithe” and it’s purpose, reach and pending report 3.
