Specific Details Benefit in kind for EV's

Intended results Tralee Chamber Alliance wishes to draw attention to the ever growing challenge that is navigating the EV market for business, particularly rural parts of Ireland. Bases on feedback from Chamber members and partners we have outlined a proposal in terms of introducing an incentive for businesses. Tralee Chamber Alliance suggest that the following is needed if Ireland is to achieve our target of 936,000 EV's on Irish Roads by 2030. (1) Extend the Tax Free Threshold on EV's beyond 2026 for Benefit in Kind. (2) Introduce a Bike to Work Type Scheme for the purchase and Installation of EV Chargers in Private homes.
