Specific Details National Conference 2022 of Engineers Ireland

Intended results Engineers Ireland's hybrid National Conference in 2022 was on 19 October at the Convention Centre Dublin. Its theme was Engineering in a time of challenge; innovation, decarbonisation and the role of engineers. Minister McGrath attended and spoke as our Guest of Honour. The Minister was invited so he could share his perspectives on the importance of our country having secure national finances, sustained public capital investment and qualified professionals who are key to our knowledge economy (including in the STEM-related fields). Our members would also have been interested to hear his view on Government priority areas such as the implementation of major programmes, including the National Development Plan & Housing for All.
