Specific Details Laois Chamber would to see the extension and enhancement of existing Business Supports and Grants in the county to enhance the retail landscape in Laois. These supports and grants will further enhance the public realm, tackle derelict buildings/vacant units, and attract new business to the county.

Intended results The extension and enhancement of business supports and grants through the Local Authority and Local Enterprise Office from central funds is crucial to enhance the business landscape in Laois, whilst also having the benefit of reducing derelict and vacant premises. Existing supports have been excellent for the county, and this must continue and be built upon.
