Sample text of email I am writing to you in relation to the European Union Youth Orchestra and its recent announcement that EUYO is to cease trading from September of this year due to lack of European funding. EUYO has been an important symbol of diversity and inclusivity for young people for forty years, in addition to providing young musicians with excellent artistic opportunities and a chance to work with their contemporaries from all around Europe. It is a symbol of unity within the EU and an active symbol of cultural cooperation between member countries. The reason for the closure is that EUYO has fallen victim to changes in the Creative Europe funding processes that favour project work to the exclusion of supporting organisations that have a single Europe-wide mission and need continuous support in achieving this mission.
