Specific Details Representatives from our organisation met with Senator Marie Sherlock to discuss details related to Parliamentary Questions around autistic people and employment, and to brief the Senator on wider employment issues facing autistic people living in Ireland.

Intended results We sought clarity on figures from Intreo relating to how many job coaches and how much public monies had been spent thus far on upskilling and supporting autistic people in finding work.

We liaised with Senator Sherlock's office, as Labour's Seanad Spokesperson on Enterprise and Employment and a member of the Oireachtas Enterprise Committee, to secure a meeting with her to set up a meeting.

Virtual Meeting (1)

Representatives from our organisation organised a virtual meeting with the Senator where we went over in detail about our parliamentary questions and our wider projects on supported employment for autistic people.
