Specific Details We produced a research document called 'A Critical Analysis of Supports for Pupils with Additional Needs and their School Leaders in Irish Primary Schools'. This report was complied from collating the results of a survey administered to all primary school principals in May 2021. ine Recommendations for the DES and NCSE from over 500 practising school leaders.

Intended results We asked for the Minister for Education, Minister of State for Special Education and Inclusion and education stakeholders, to read and acknowledge the report sent to them and for progress to be made with regards to the recommendations outlined in this report. We also asked for a review of the EPSEN ACT 2004, with a view to fully enacting this Act.

The report was sent via email to all senators and TDs, including the Ministers aforementioned. We are hoping to engage said Ministers in conversation with representatives of the National Principals' Forum to discuss the issues and recommendations outlined in the report.
