Specific Details Advocacy for ethanol and E10 petrol as means for cutting carbon emissions in transport. Ireland's fleet of diesel and petrol vehicles is still growing and E10 can help.

Intended results Bring about greater use of safe clean biofuels in Ireland's climate programmes, in particular, the deployment of E10 petrol, containing 10% ethanol. Ethanol made from European tillage crops is also a key part of securing farm incomes and reducing dependency on imports of protein feed from outside the EU.
