Specific Details Agreement between Minister for Health, HSE and Rehab Group on additional funding for RehabCare. In July 2019 agreement was reached for the provision of an additional 2m euro to be provided to RehabCare. While 1.5 was received, 500k euro is outstanding. The lobby was to secure the remaining 500k euro in funding.

Intended results To ensure that the remaining 500k euro due to be provided to RehabCare, was advanced.

Kathleen O'Meara met the Minister for Health, Simon Harris, at an event organised by Slaintecare on Wednesday October 16th at the Department of Health and informed him that the outstanding 500k euro had not yet been advanced by the HSE. She asked him to follow up. He was accompanied by his adviser, Joanne Lonergan, who undertook to communicate to Kathleen O'Meara

Mo Flynn, CEO of Rehab Group, met the Minister for Disabilities, Finian McGrath, at an event organised by Rehab on Wednesday October 16th regarding technology and disability and informed him that the outstanding 500k euro had not yet been advanced by the HSE. She asked him to follow up and he undertook to do so.
