Event / Reception (1)

Ireland's response to the refugee and migration crisis and the need for a humanitarian focus was the main advocacy point for a stand the Immigrant Council of Ireland at the Fianna Fáil Ard Fheis (Jan 16th). The opportunity was also used to highlight the key recommendations in our election manifesto 'An Equal Ireland for All' which cover the areas of immigration reform, integration and anti-racism as well as combating human trafficking. The stand provoked great interest from delegates and the party leadership, who were supportive of our goals.
