Whilst welcoming the developement, Retail Excellence asked the Minister and his officials to review the proposed policy on taxation with a view to extending the deferral period to three months, post-Brexit. The 2 month timeframe is insufficient and does not do enough to relieve retailers of substantial cashflow pressures, at a time of historic turmoil for our members, who operate in every town across the country.
