Catherine Cosgrave, Managing Solicitor, emailed members of PACE to invite them to attend a European Network on Statelessness event launching the new Index resource; the first and only online comparative tool which assesses how countries in Europe protect stateless people and what they are doing to prevent and reduce statelessness. We invited members to this launch event and to meet us to discuss their role as a PACE Member and ways in which they could raise the issue of statelessness in the national parliament and the Council of Europe, (no meetings were forthcoming).
