The following activities occurred for this specific Subject Matter Area.

Meeting (1)

Met with the Minister with Responsibility for Immigration, Integration & Equality and appropriate Department of Justice officials to discuss our ongoing research in the area of anti-trafficking and our practical work providing legal support to trafficking victims through our independent law centre. We are seeking more straight forward identification processes so the appropriate supports kick in more quickly & national and EU victims can be identified and access support; gender sensitive accommodation for non-EEA victims which is not in direct provision and the need for an Independent National Special Rapporteur on Trafficking like there is in Finland to guide policy and practice.
