John Brassil TD attended the research event on 30th May – issues discussed – investment in health research and access to medicines. Email also sent on 31st May requesting a follow-up meeting.
Met with John Brassil on 13th June – discussed access to medicines and need to conduct a review of medications access and reimbursement systems. Follow-up email sent requesting review of medications access and reimbursement systems be included in Fianna Fáil manifesto. Stephen Donnelly TD also CC’d on email.

Meeting with Maurice Quinlivan TD on 1st May – 3-5 follow up emails sent – in relation to need for MS Nurse in Limerick Hospital.

Submission was calling for: investment in neurology services, investment in neurorehabilitation, increased funding for community support services, increased funding for Housing Adaptation Grant, awarding of GP Visit Card to those on Long Term Illness Scheme, ring-fencing of funds from 2016 IPHA agreement for spending on new and innovative medications.
