Letter (1)

The National Board replied to a response from the Department of Justice, via Hayes Solicitors , clarifying matters following their receipt of submission by us regarding Information sharing and data protection.

Submission (1)

At their invitation, a submission was made to the Oireachtas Committee on Children and Youth Affairs detailing the National Board’s Guidance in relation to reporting allegations of abuse to the civil authority agencies, including any limits or restrictions on such reporting.

Meeting (1)

Meeting with the Assistant Data Protection Commissioner with the object of seeking assistance to improve the monitoring and safeguarding of children in the Catholic church in Ireland with legislative guidance, in light of GDPR requirements
