At a presentation of safety course certificates to learners of the NISO Certificate in Safety, Health and Welfare at Work at the Price of Wales Hotel, Athlone, on 16 February 2018, the Minister of State at the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform with special responsibility for the Office of Public Works and Flood Relief was asked to encourage greater participation in the All Ireland Safety Awards by Government Departments, Local Authorities and State organisations.
