Dear Minister I have had the pleasure of meeting you on a number of occasions, since you took up office, and on each occasion you expressed a great interest in meeting with the Environmental Pillar, and seeing how we might work together with you and your department, in order to find synergies on a range of matters regarding sustainable transport and sustainable tourism. Unfortunately though, thus far, despite several requests, we have been unable to get an official meeting with you. As the national Social Partner representing 26 national environmental NGOs, we see ourselves as your potential allies in the drive to de-carbonise transport and make tourism as sustainable as possible, economically, socially and environmentally. We have much to talk about with you and would very much welcome an opportunity to do so.
