Intended results 1. Advisors to the Minister to link with Dublin City Council, Brendan Kenny Deputy Chief Executive Housing & Community, and secure the Council’s Wheelchair Accessible Housing Design Template as referenced by Dolores Murphy. The Minister asked would IWA engage in reviewing this template. 2. Advisors to the Minister to establish the number of wheelchair accessible houses being built nationally. 3. IWA recommended the Minister and his advisors viewing the requirements of wheelchair accessible house design in the IWA Housing Video My Home Housing Options and Issues at http://www.iwa.ie/services/housing . 4. IWA recommended the Minister view the Association’s overall recommendations in relation to housing (2 minute video attached above) .
