The Wheel attended a Bi-lateral meeting of the Community and Voluntary Pillar (of which The Wheel is a member) with the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform at which we asked the Department to ensure that the department's forthcoming guidance on commissioning is in line with the Programme for Government commitment that states that government "will also ensure that all commissioning for human, social and community services takes place in a societal value framework (targeted at maximising the value for society)."
