Meeting (2-5)
On behalf of the association, I invited the 9 Councillors representing the Dun Laoghaire Electoral Area to a meeting in Northover Hall, Dalkey on January 3rd to explain why the Developers proposal was inappropriate to the location in question. the following attended. Cllr John Bailey, Ossian Smyth, Michael Merrigan, Melisa Halpin, Cathaoirleach Cormac Devlin, Cllr O'Keefe, and Cllr Mary Fayne.
Meeting (2-5)
The Association organised a Public meeting which took place on the 5th January in Fitzpatricks Castle Hotel, Killiney. The meeting was attended by 460 members of the public, including 8 public representatives. Public representatives were not formally invited by the Association, but we were pleased to welcome them. The Public Representatives in attendance were Deputy Boyd Barrett and Cllrs Ossian Smyth, Melisa Halpin, Cathaoirleach Cormac Devlin, Cllr Mary Hanafin, Cllr Shane O'Brien, Cllr Dave O'Keeffe, Cllr Hugh Lewis, Cllr Carrie Smyth and Cllr Denis O'Callaghan. Susan McDonnell, Frank Dillion and I met with Cllr Particia Stewart to offer her the Association's views on Monday January 30th. She had been out of the country and had missed the meeting indicated above.
