Meeting (1)
On the 10th of November 2015, Minister Paudie Coffey visited Midlands Simon Community`s Sli Nua service in Athlone, on the back of the homeless budget for the Midlands region being increased in 2015. Mr Tony O Riordan also wrote Minister Coffey a letter which lobbied for further funding as the organisation was now dealing with more complex cases than ever before.
Sli Nua is a housing with support service and is designed to provide 7 single people with self-contained accommodation in individual 1-bed apartments.
