Shortage of affordable rental accommodation, Short-term lets issue, High number of Traveller families with children in homelessness, children in homelessness, increase in rough sleeping and domestic violence as a cause of homelessness

Intended results To ensure that the voices of those with the lived experience of homelessness are represented in the policy debate at the EU level and in preparation of the Irish Presidency of the EU Council in 2026.

Activities were part of a visit to the European Parliament in Brussels by the Irish Homeless Policy Group, a coalition of NGO/Voluntary sector agencies involved in responding to and addressing homelessness, onNovember 4th and 5th 2025
