Did you manage or direct a grassroots campaign? Yes

What is the directive you gave to the grassroots campaigners? To appeal a decision by Wicklow County Council (to An Coimisiun Pleanala) to grant permission for a development, including a 2ha public park on a Flood Zone B, to a private developer, who has clearly stated that they then intend to put high density development on the remainder of their site - a Flood Zone A. We set up a petition on Change.org to this effect, and we have also addressed our local Women's Shed, and participated in a podcast called Bray Talking Heads, during which we would have encouraged people to contact their local councillors to support our campaign. Also social media, as below.
