Specific Details The inclusion of a specific local objective within the Final County Development Plan review 2017 at Castleknock, Dublin 15 (site formerly know as Total Fitness Site). The site was already zoned in the draft plan from Amenity to Commercial and we proposed to include a local objective for a hotel on the subject lands

Intended results It was intended to secure a motion on the subject lands within the review of the Fingal Development Plan - the motion was " to provide for a hotel" on the subject lands as the site was zoned commercial (HT) but the zoning was quiet on hotel uses where is was neither detailed as permitted or detailed as NOT permitted. A local objective was seen to be the optimal approach in terms of the future development of the lands.
