On 20th May 2024, Alison Harnett (NFVSP CEO) wrote to Colm O'Conaill (Assistant Secetary General) to request clarification over the nature and resource allocation of the social care/ supports aspect of the Needs Assessment being developed as part of the Health Regions Reform and how this will link with the Disability Capacity Review or the Action Plan. She also expressed concern about Public Health Doctors carrying out a health needs assessment for people with disabilities.
