Intended results Seek Lord Mayor's and Dublin City Council support for services and facilities provided by National Learning Network, Rehab Care and Rehab Enterprises in Ballyfermot. Dublin City Council to use Article 20 of Procurement Directive which would enable Rehab submit for public sector tenders reserved for companies providing employment for people with a disability.

Event / Reception (1)

On the 15th November, Lord Mayor Cllr Daithi de Roiste, visited RehabCare, Rehab Enterprise and National Learning Network facilities in Ballyfermot. He met a team of Rehab staff to talk through their work and the challenges they face. He also engaged with NLN students, people in Rehab Care Day services and staff from the Rehab Enterprise Recycling facility.

A follow up letter was sent to the Lord Mayor in December to highlight the issues that were discussed and further possible actions to be taken.
