Intended results We wanted to meet with Minister Smyth to discuss access to funding for ACTS & LDAG charities to support and expand their transport operations for people with disabilities as they are faced with increased demand. We also wanted to highlight the issues faced by people with disabilities with transport in Ireland and how prohibitive it can be and dissuades them in participating fully in society ACTS = Accessible Community Transport Southside and LDAG= Lucan Disability Action Group.

We began emailing Ossian Smyth on the 19th of June 2023 to discuss a meeting. We met on the 30th of June in his office where we gave him a presentation and provided him with our financial plan to expand operations. We have emailed him since but have not heard back
