Specific Details Campaign to change eligibility rules for social welfare benefits

Intended results Conduct a systemic review of social welfare payments to reform rules governing eligibility criteria to ensure that payments are tapered off rather than the cliff edge cuts that now exist, payments reflect the modern realities of work and they do not discourage full or parttime employment Allow a temporary exemption for home care workers that allows them to work an additional three hours per week (or earn equivalent income depending on the payments rules).
