Intended results That Town Planning Officers (SOC Code 2432) be added to the Critical Skills Occupations List and that Town Planning Technicians (SOC Code 3121) be removed from the Ineligible Occupations List following DETE's Public consultation on the review of the occupations lists for employment permits.

Email on 19 July 2023 following up our Survey report and as raised by us in recent evidence to the Oireachtas Committee regarding resourcing and skills shortages in the sector, informing him that IPI will be making a submission to DETE's public consultation on the review of the occupations lists for employment permits recommending that Town Planning Officers be added to the CSOL and that Town Planning Technicians be removed from the IOL and that support in this matter would be appreciated.
