Agreed the formalisation of a relationship between AgTech Ireland and DAFM, with formal meeting twice a year; involvement of AgTech Ireland in Trade Missions; availability of AgTech Ireland to DAFM when they need an agtech industry perspective. AgTech Ireland to have input on agrifood research and innovation strategy; identification of a primary contact person (Karl Walsh, Senior Inspector in charge of Research, Food and Codex Co-ordination) in DAFM for AgTech Ireland.
