Specific Details
Targeted Agriculture Modernisation Scheme (TAMS) Tranche 25
Intended results
To get a commitment from the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, that the revised reference costs, which were completed by the Department (in December) will be implemented for Tranche 25 applications.
At the Charter of Rights meeting on December 2nd, the Department confirmed to IFA that the review of the TAMS reference costs for grant-aided work would be finalised within a week but it would be unlikely the revised costings will be implemented for Tranche 25, which is open to applications from January 15th to April 8th.
This means the revised costings will not be implemented until 4 months after they are completed which is totally unacceptable and forces farmers to work with out-of-date reference costs which were compiled in March of last year.
