Specific Details To promote the drafting and enactment of the Gambling Control Bill 2013; To make recommendations as to whether or not certain discretionary provisions available to Member States in the 4th EU AML Directive should be granted to sectors in the gambling industry.

Intended results To promote the drafting of a Gambling Control Bill in accordance with the principles set out in the draft heads of the Gambling Control Bill as published in July 2013, and the enactment of same into legislation. To highlight the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) risk attaching to all forms of gambling where there are high levels of player anonymity combined with high levels of cash transaction; To recommend that in such environments the AML risk should be considered 'high'; Ensure that exemptions available under the EU 4th AML Directive are only granted where it is appropriate to do so, i.e. low risk environments.
